Zephyr tail light id

    just scored these zephyr tail lights are they 38-39 they look a little
    different than the repros. the repros look like they have a flat face
    to the lens these are fully rounded, Reads on gl*** "Do Ray Lamp Co. Zephyr Chicago Ill, and no i didnt get the bezels......yet;)

    Not FoMoCo's Zephyr, just some other company with the name Zephyr. Sorry.

    it's cool if they arent i still like em, (and i did not pay fomoco prices)
    the guy i bought them from was selling fomoco zephyr emblems and the line pattern in the emblem looks the same as the gl*** pattern on the lenses
    he did not claim they were 38-39 he had no clue what year any of his zephyr stuff was

    Whatever they are they would look cool frenched in on most any early car.

    I saw those. It may be none of my business, but I will usually let a seller know if they are mistakenly or purposely misrepresenting something like in this case. Sometimes they fix it sometimes they don't. I wish I would have in this case, but at least you are happy with them regardless. BTW, if you weren't sure that is a driver side 39' Zephyr Emblem.

    i bought em cause i liked em i dont feel he misrepresented anything he stated he didnt know what year they were and he never said they were lincolns, i didnt buy the emblems i was just using those as an example for the gl*** pattern thanks though

    thats what i was thinking, i have this thing for unique gl*** patterns in tail lights it's a small detail i notice alot, and the gl*** is a real dark dark ruby color with out the camera flash in the pix real nice looking

    Could those lights be some old marker lights from a bus maybe ? Never the less they are a cool design !
