Mark you are the only guy on here who can post photos of a "dune buggy" and not have the rabid that ain't traditional guys throwing a fit.

Cool car, and it looks like you have way too much fun doing these things.

    What a great gig!

  5. Did you make the body? I guess from looking at old pics? I also remember seeing these at car shows when I was still little enough to fit in one.

You should post a photo of the serial No. 1 Bugetta. and mention it was built by Jerry Eisert of Indy car fame

Back in 1971 i was working for a guy named Carl Austin. We did fibergl*** repair and paint for guys like Raymond Beatle and Gene Snow on thier funny cars.
One day a truck pulled up and unloaded a corvette zinger and i think the vw for us to do some quick repairs on .
They were on the show circuit at that time .
I seriously wanted that little corvette.

    They were cool...

The orig**** vw was at the pate swap meet 15- 20 years ago I'm thinking 3,500 range, missing a few parts, me being broke and trying to figure out how to come up with money fast. Dont know if it sold.

  27. I was going to mention (name drop :)) that my old friend Steve Tansy had a hand in that but I see someone beat me to it.
