Me and hot dog bob are beginning to think about the interior of his 59 buick. Kinda want the zodiac but not over powering. Does anyone have this in their car? really just looking for some pictures to get ideas.50-60's cars. TP

No pics. Back in the mid sixties I had a 60 Studebaker Lark coupe. Blue and white Zodiac Tuck-n-roll candystripe interior. With leopard skin trim (looked and felt like real stuff) on a console and dash. White angel hair headliner.

Was a great date car, as those studie seats fold down to the rear seat.

364 Buick, old "selector" three speed trans. West coast shifter. A great ride.:D

Nothing like being subtle! The 59 is going to be black and a pearl white top. We are thinking black on the outside of the seat/2' pearl wite band/2"glitter pleats. He is doing some drawings now to try and see where all the colors will work together. I am trying to salvage the factory door panels and redye them black and red and upholster the seats. I'm trying to get out cheap. His car,my money.TP

I remeber that rivi from thee first roundup. I also liked your dodge-plymouth that you had in the glitter. I would love for you to do his car but I most likely can't afford you. When it gets time I will ask though.Everything you do is number one aand I know that cost. I just like the looks of the zodiac. He is wanting to go black and red, I just hope it's not too much. Black vinyl and red zodiac kinda in oem style. Thanks for the pictures. TP

Haha... I was gonna post some pictures of my old 54 Ply, but when I looked at them I couldn't believe how many flaws in the upholstery I could pick out. I couldn't bring myself to put those pictures on the internet... it's too embarr***ing. My work is sooo much better than that now. But the better the quality the more time it takes, and more time means more money, and now I probably cost too much for you. Hell, I probably can't afford to get my own upholstery done by me, and I can get the labor free. But my advice is always free- call me if you need any help.

I think it was the '57 Plymouth that had the "glitter" metallic thread woven into the carpet. It's repopped too.
