Hello, all! It's Tiki Lounge Party time again! This year's 4th celebration of Polynesian pop culture kitsch will be held at the Rhythm Room in Phoenix on Sunday, September 26th at 6:00 PM-close. If y'all could help a girl out again this time around, I would be very grateful! I'm looking for someone (individual or maybe a car club?) to help organize a hot rod show for the event. People really seem to dig all the cars out front but we've never really organized this aspect of the event as well as we would like to. Last year I put out the same plea but there were two other events that same day and we had a small (but fun) turnout. We ended up having custom choppers and bobbers mostly there but that was nowhere near as fun as the kool hot rods that have been out in years past. I would like to make it a feature of the event. We most definitely want to have a lot of dedicated VIP parking right next to the outdoor patio. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks Ron! We have been talking to some of the guys on the car clubs here in town also. seems like the thing to do is provide a bunch of VIP parking and make sure we have a dedicated guy to direct traffic a bit and keep the Volvo sedans out of there for at least the first few hours. The first couple of years were hopping outside! See you all there.
