Another up date. Last up date here, http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=189370&highlight=front+engine+dragster And in that one a link to the first.
Well I thought things would be going alot faster but usually that is how things go. So finaly got my clutch back. Partly due to me not havin the cash , but finaly when I did, I called and they said "yes its ready to go". So perfect. Got the clutch. Then I still need the coupler. Well turns out nobody makes a 6 spline coupler. The old 60s sprint car clutch can i have "CAE" has a early ford 6 spline out put shaft. So I googled 6 spline ford and lo and behold, came up with a hamb connection. Dick Spadaro in NY. so anyway called him an bought a 6 spline end of a old ford shaft. And mark williams sells the male part of the coupler for special coupler fabrication. So in a couple of days we will see. Still need all the necessary cables; fuel shut off, chute, and throttle. Been refineing the trailer and such. This thing has me about broke and almost tired of workin on stuff. So if its not at the H.A.M.B. drags it because of cash and not lack of trying. Anybody what to donate your paycheck? ha ha. But the motor runs. And damn it sounds good. And usually just that sound makes me want to sell everything else I own to make a pass in this thing. In the orginal thread I tell about my friend Tom and his involvement in a Jr. Fuel car. Well that thing has gone 7.49 @ 189mph this summer. I am not looking for performance like that , just a tire fryer. But congrads to those guys. Anyway here are a few more pics. Not much new to see just different photos. KING

Another photo. Also how do you guys post large photos. Mine always turn out this small. If I make them bigger, it exceeds the forums limit. Please P.M. me the answer. Thanks
