This patch should be easier . Because the sides of the one ton is longer , 48" vs 28" for a standard panel truck , I will take the standard panel patch from Jim Carters [# SM 570 ] and extend it with a door bottom patch . Again I am a novice and if you have any ideas let me know . I did find another truck with a good body but could not bring myself to cut it up

This repair will be made more difficult because I could find no "starter " panel in which to get the shape . I am novice to this so any ideas would be appreciated

The extension looks relatively simple from the inside , I believe the top is made by using two tops back to back and shortened .

This truck was amazingly complete . The worst of the rust is contained to the lower body panels and the upper part of the "extended ' rear doors
