A few picks of my old stuff

This upholstery thing I had not done before,but I just jumped in with both feet and gave it "The Bat" out of hell try;
Well here is the new cockpit lip all done,so now to show you'all how I did it,next below post will have photo by photo of what I did. Had to fig out a way to mount lip to hold,even though my son and I will be getting in and out right over it=this would pull off most lip trim along to top lip.
I've seen more then a few trim jobs that in a very short time start to come apart,so this needed to be long lasting design. How is in a TECH by me;

This is my son's rod he calls it "Pandora",he and I had a lot of fun building it.
My son Lance giving rides at Christmas 2011 after we just finshing up his 23T,took about 3 years to find enough parts from here and there and fab up most of it,it was not a kit.
Only the pad around the upper cockpit lip is left to do now!

A car show in 61 or 1962,made mag in jan CarCraft Jan. 1963,
I built two cars from Jr. High and High School,this Henry J full custom and my "A"bucket 28 roadster. On the "J" I was very lucky to get a 57 T-Brid folding top and mated that up,so one of my two cars had some cover from the rain,never did get to making a top for my 28 roadster,but did get bows made but not covered by the time I got a wife in 1965. The "J" was stolden and my roadster I still have some of the parts of,sold off a few parts cus needed $ right after getting a new place and wife. I'm rebuilding my 28 slowly now

All us clowns; Rob,Pet,Nick,Steve,Tim and me,about 1/2 the memebers of Scavenger CC ,messing around at Rob's house for the photo,this was about 1960,the car name is "Gangreen",all our cars had name's and nearly all were some sickness name,Rigamoretiss ,Brain Rot,ect.
I'm hanging over front fender in the dum shirt and socks

for a buddy who just redid his 65 Cyclone this year,went to his first car show and needed a shirt. I'm still a bit rusty,not smooth like I was back in the day, but Bob liked it a lot.
I did a lot of these type shirts at indoor car shows back in the late 50's and early 60's as "THE BAT" out of hell

In 1958, H-mod (SCCA) Jabo bodyed Crosley at BlockBuster's rod and custom car show St. Pete/Clearwater Fla. my skinny self standing there. My Dad and I built and raced this in Fla.

I did a lot of monster T-shirts in my time.
This airbrushed hot rod t-shirt I did for Terry's custom 58 Apache truck, just a short time ago ,but the same way I did it years back,he asked if I'd do one about the same as I did in the late 1950's. Hope ya enjoy it. I'm old and a bit shakyer and slower now but still having fun.

Photo from 1964,got printed in 65. Steve's rod [he's seated,I'm leaning on it,we just finished some tuning work on his Y-block,was no AC shops then,we were lucky we had a carport.
Note the big tool box,well it was for then.
I had painted name on his rod and the striping a few years before. "Scarlet Fever" was red with white trim
