Ok, obviously I'm not very good at following directions but this photo was too good not to share. Finely crafted race car dash with stepped seat dating from the late forties. This car was state of the art and had to have been pricey to build. It featured independent front suspension (who says its not traditional?!), knock off wire wheels with whitewalls(!) and a beautiful hand made body.

Wacky amp gauge (probably from a boat), kinda reminds me of the star trek logo. It would look right at home in a 60's space-age show rod. Another neat detail is how the needle hangs down as opposed to points up.

This is a killer dual temp gauge perfect for monitoring both your right and left flathead temps! Surely it was meant for an old wood boat but would really fill out a hot rod dash.

Nice use of a 10 gauge GM diesel panel although it's on the pricey side.

Definitely not the most elegant Stutz dash and I've never really liked wood dashboards because they're either too fancy-smancy or have a 70's homebuilt feel. What I do like however is the stark black panel and gauge layout with the speedo and tach running opposite each other.

Nice little 1932 Buick panel with odd shaped gauges. The knob under the speedo is a trip counter reset, usually you have to reach under the dash to get access to them.
