30Durant

I have always wanted a Deuce Coupe, since I was a teenager.That is what got me interested in hotrods . A couple of years ago I was checking out a buy and sell site and came across the Durant. I like the style even if it is a sedan ,and I had some cash to play with from selling my house . I watched the ad for a while ,probably a couple months.The price came down to a third of his original asking price so I called him ,drove the 4 hours to see it .He started it up and moved it from forward to reverse , and now I own it.
My background is with wood. I can turn wood into most anything . My experience with steel is much less. I have most basic tools as well as fire wrenches and a mig welder . And now ,this site. Think I'm gonna like it here...so much info. Mark
