My first street rod nationals was in 1972 held in Detroit by NSRA and I was hooked. My first rod, a 39 plymouth was built in a 14'x14' garden shed in order to avoid eviction from the mobile home court landlord where I lived.
At 57 years old, I am now self-employed for 25 years in the collision/restoration business. I also sell used cars in Racine WI. I hope to someday build hot rods for a living untill I can no longer turn a wrench or untill the Lord takes me home.
