At 14 I bought my first car. a 1931 Chevy 3 window coupe,rebuilt it and traded for a 29 Ford Roadster,. Then I went to the drags with a friend and his Model A F/Gas Coupe (circa 1965)and I was hooked.Bought a 55 Chevy and put a straight axle in it. Since then I have has nine Tri fives. In 1997 I bought my first Willys and started running the Mid America Willys Club. I along with Big John recreated the Mazmanian Willys 41 Coupe. It was featured in Issue 31 of Rodders Journal. In 2002 my brother and I started the Gasser Reunion in Thompson Ohio. This last weekend we had our successful 9th Gasser Reunion.
