I got into hot rods in the mid 70ties, when I visited in germany the us army dragstrip at the erlensee afb. American soldiers and german car enthusiasts run their rides dorwn the quartermile. Our local rhein-main-cruiser club started in 1980 with us soldiers from rhein-main-air base and germany rod & custom car freaks. in 1994 >I was one of the founding members of the german street rod assiciation. Since 1991 I´m activ goodguys member.
I, and lots of my buddies are frequently guest, customers and visitors in the usa hot rod scene since the mid 80ties.
