looking for 49 to 50 fleetline 2door or styleine coupe
Goodguys I like the pretty pictures
I get bored with reliable transportation. What i like is craftsmanship, creativity, preservation, period correct engines and accessories, Bench seats, manual transmissions, leaf springs, multiple carbs, crank up windows, and metal panels.

The current recipe I'm dreaming up is a 49 or 50 Chevy Fleetline or coupe, stock body except for a deleted fuel filler and welded and filled fender and hood seems, Jag front end ~ 5" lower, Camero or 57 rear ~4" lower, 1954 or later 235 oiling system fixed or 261, 8.5 compression, mild cam, Edmunds Dual intake with a pair of Holley 94s, and Fenton cast exhaust mainfolds, maybe straight side pipes...maybe muffled to keep the back pressure up. probably a T5 so i can drive the thing long distances. 12 volt system with Step downs for the blower, gauges, radio. H4 headlights and LED taillights, Plastic fuel tank and stainless lines to deal with the ethanol the tree huggers have forced upon us

    Signature

Silly Streetrodder, SBCs are for 55 and newer cars!
