I grew up around Drag Racing because of my father, the first time i went to a drag strip i was only a month old. I'd helped my dad on all of his racecars, his first dragster the "wicked one" a blown 426 donovan. i eventually started driving my own, a jr. dragster named "wicked too". i kept moving up going as fast as my age bracket would let me, although i always had hopes to someday drive a FED. my dad had by now built a new front engine dragster called "the black pearl". A 426 Keith Black injected on 100% Nitro, this is when my knowledge grew. i helped where help was needed, mostly the oily job was on the bottom end. years later after running that car successfully with a fastest ET of 6.21 at 222MPH, he decided to sell it with the idea of building a funny car. plans changed as my dad was offered to tune on Claude Lavoie's "Sandman Special" nitro funny car. the car stayed in our shop, we brought it to all the races and it was less like business, more like friends goin racin. which is exactly what its all about. i met all the old timers, and they've taught me a lot. now i drive a car thats exactly what id dreamed of as a kid, a front engine dragster with a 350 small block, enderle stack injected on 27% Nitro. its a fun little car, that was kindly lend out for me to drive from a race friend. drag racing is my greatest passion, so the original drag cars are my favorites. ofcourse with a background like i have, i cant go out and own a honda for my first car like any other 17yr old. so i bought an Edsel, a 1959 Ranger 2dr hrdtp, making it a mild custom with my dad.
