Genetically from my father, by osmosis from my stepdad, and influenced by cool folks a tick or two older than me at all stages. The best people to come through my life usually had a wrench in one hand and some American steel. Spent the first half reading & dreaming; second half is DO IT time, baby. I'm wrenching like a mofo now making up for lost time! Chops & skills are getting better and I'm having some fun. I drive 'em all I can, '70s and earlier are all I own. Daily driver is a decrepit old '67 Valiant. It's all music to me.
