Slimm Gutnecht Roadster 1965 Driven by my Dad Jimmy Williams from Iowa when he race
- N/A
I grew up around Knoxville IA, My dad raced for IMCA in the 50's and 60's. He retired in 1967 and has passed away while I was stationed in Iraq 4 years ago. I was restoring the Grant King 98 Gaterade car when he passed away. I am still haveing it restored by Butch Evans. I currently purchased the 1965 Gutnecht Roadster. My dad drove for Slimm in 1965. He was in a terrilbe crash at the Iowa State Fair in August 1964 and made the front page of several news papers around the U.S. He has driven for Butch Smith from Nebraska, Doc Shafer car and for several others during his racing with IMCA. I grew up around Jerry Blundy, Gordon Wooley, Hank Smith, Bob Trostle, and so many other Great Drivers and Owners from long ago.Interact
