My father was always working on his 37 Buick when I was young. About 10 years ago I had some money burning a whole in my pocket so I got a mustang and some tools and started teaching myself how to work on them next thing you know I'm addicted to burning metal and spraying paint. I'm alot better with rust repairs and body work then the mechanical end of things but i'm to cheap to pay people to do things for me so i'm always learning.
