    I'm the stepson of Claude Hampson, once an aluminum former for Frank Kurtis, before opening his own shop in the early 1950s. He built Jack Thompsons 27 T Track Roadster, featured on the cover of a 1958 issue of Hot Rod and used the same jig to form the nose of Phil Freudiger's lakes roadster. Phil and my stepdad were lifelong friends.
