    I got into hot rods and customs because of listening to my Dad talk about his 53 ford shoebox that he had back in high school. my first real old hot rod was a 59 chevy station wagon, then a 70 challenger, 69 ford f100, a couple of bikes, currently rebuilding my 71 shovelhead.
