In a previous life, I was a fancy-pants certified technician in a dealership in Seattle. I dug old wrecks out of fields and re-welded the exhaust on my beat-to-shit 52 Chevy sedan for fun. Oh, and I also spent considerable time chatting on this here message board. I disappeared from the world of cars after I was in a terrible collision and stopped driving completely.


Now? Well, now I'm a few years older and living in Australia with my Mister. I've driven rentals and friends cars here and there. I'm also thinking a lot about that model A body I left in the corner of my father's garage, the tarp thick with dust. The urge is coming back.

It's true, I'm a woman and I love adjusting carburetors.
